Handmade ceramic candleholders

Our beautiful handmade candleholders are exclusive to us. We have many talented makers in the South West, but needed to find the right fit for our candles. This meant local, someone who could interpret my vision, and understand that this was not just a financial journey, but a journey into providing a holder to be part of someone’s home, to be admired not just as a functional object, but as a piece of art.

We commissioned Roop & Al RAMP to create candleholders to work with our beautiful beeswax candle range. Available in the colour finishes shown, each is unique and highly individual due to the way in which the glaze process works.

Each holder comes with a pair of our naturally scented and 100% pure beeswax candles. These candles are hand dipped by me in my Devon workshop using wax from our own hives, and other westcountry beeswax. Cotton wicks are used ensuring you have the most environmental clean burning candle possible.

Pure Beeswax candles - Hand dipped 8”

x1 pair of 8” tapers
x1 ceramic taper candle holder

Burn time per candle ~8hrs

Candles - 20x2.2cm

Holder - size does vary slightly 2.5cmx10cm

We hand dip our beeswax candles in pairs with beeswax from or own apiaries, apiaries from local West Country beekeeper, and beekeepers where we can authenticate the quality of their beeswax.

Because the colour of the beeswax is determined by flowers and trees on which the bees are foraging the colour of the wax will vary between batches of candles.

Each candle is handmade, using an ancient hand-dipping technique so you can expect to get a slight variation in size.

We aim to provide you with a non-drip pure beeswax candle.

Beeswax candles are known especially for their clean burning, with no soot or smoke, and especially helpful with those that suffer from allergies or asthma often associated with other types of candles.

All beeswax candles give out a wonderful light, a warm light reminding me of soft summer sunlight.

All of our pure beeswax candles offer you the following properties:-

• long burn time

• amazing aroma

• bright attractive flame

• no soot or carbon pollution

Tips for using your candles.

• Remove all wrapping and packaging from your candle before lighting

• Ensure your candle is safely anchored and away from flammable objects before lighting.

• Keep your wick to no longer than 5mm

• Do not use hurricane lamps or lanterns for your candles, beeswax burns far hotter than many candle waxes and reduces oxygen flow which may cause the wick to smoke the glass and cause the wax to spill over the side of the candle and cause uneven burning.

• Never leave a burning candle unattended

• Please enjoy using my candles produced with love and care, from bee to me to you
