Christmas Beeswax Candles

What would Christmas be without a candle? We think that the festive season just lends itself to warm lights, twinkling through the dark evenings. 

You may think we are biased but a beeswax candle flame is a bright, golden flame that burns hotter and brighter than other waxes, providing a spectrum of light that is similar to the sun. 

Regardless of our thoughts and ramblings, and we could spend hours writing of the pros of beeswax candles, the point of this page is to talk about ideas for Christmas gifts, whether it be a stocking filler, or maybe a Secret Santa, or just a special Christmas gift for friend or family.

We are very conscious of packaging but also understand that there is something so good about unwrapping and revealing the secret inside. So, to that end we either send our candles in an unbleached cotton bag, or gift boxed in a re-cycled cardboard box. Each candle comes with a label, detailing that they are pure beeswax and handmade, here in Devon.

Our firm favourite, winning with our customers year after year is our traditional Christmas tree beeswax candle – often bought as a decoration for the festive table – but of course, great as a pre-christmas gift too.

Whether the candles are for decoration or for burning, each one is made with the thought that it should be used. Shaped candles, the fact that they are shaped and not a standard taper candle shape does mean they will not burn as uniformly, but each candle is tested to ensure the best burn time possible.
